The reason that I was interested in "boxing" (inspired by your beautiful work Bruce!) was that my chassis has cracked right across the off side at the rear engine mount and has been rather poorly misaligned and welded back together. There is cracking in the same place on the near side too, so I figured that this was a bit of a problem (and I have heard of others experiencing the same failure).
Other than that, and a few other bodgie repairs, it is in really good condition. I guess that I was going for the overkill a bit, and should just reinforce the areas that have failed. It would save quite a bit of work, and would eliminate the "blind" areas that would be impossible to paint.
