Yes, you need to worry about a shed that looks like this! FYI it is only used for assembly and woodwork. I have access to a half million dollar workshop at work….. So I have busy lunch breaks. My big worry is what happens when I retire. Can’t see buying an NC mill plus the rest at home!

The other worry for South Australians at the moment is our historic registration system. The government is proposing changes that will prevent the historic registration of ANY cars that basically do not run standard equipment (or factory optional equipment) of the year the car was produced! Thus the Comet with an early SU and “bunch of bananas” exhaust would be ruled out along with 80% of the other Austins in the Club. The Meteor project with fibreglass replica body would definitely not get a look in. So the Meteor is on hold for most likely 6 months for a final decision to be made. The government took this view to control the 1960’s and 1970’s historically registered cars but it is hard on those running 1920's to 1950's specials. Hopefully common sense will take over……..

Cheers

Bruce
