D - no other way that I know of. After removal you'll find outside of "n" rather wavy & warped. Hammer straight over a strip of 1/8" steel before re-fitting, to minimise the amount of hammering or clamping required to make it all snug again. As you will have already painted scuttle, lay strips of masking tape or cloth down to avoid marking. What I've done is only partly-paint both items, then mask off each in turn to apply final coats to both scuttle and i/board. Re lapping-in cw&p, a South Aussie guy has set up the means to do with precision. Worth enquiring. Cheers, Bill
