G'day,
Looking at early pictures, it would appear that the early CAV switch panels were painted black, with nickel plated switches, fuse cover and ammeter rim. I guess that the stamped lettering would have been white filled.
Is this right?
With regard to the panel with the larger hole and wider ammeter rim, is the rim a separate annulus, or part of a different ammeter? This referrs to the model with the off side switch labelled "DIM", I am not sure of the CAV model number.
Thanks,
DG
