Quite sunny here in Lincolnshire on Christmas Eve, about 10 deg. C. Went into the motor house this afternoon to try and resuscitate the brakes on a friend's Type 65. Has been rather damp for last few weeks; Noted with interest what appeared to be pin mould growing on paintwork of my '33 tourer. Work on brakes interrupted by nearest and dearest before completion, though had transformed them from non existent to poor at this stage. Had a belt up the road in the 65 anyway, quite warm really! Unlike some of my more reprobrate accomplices, I tend to keep out of the garage on Christmas and Boxing Day. Bit of a traditionalist, I suppose, so perhaps I can be forgiven for wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Regards, Stuart
