I've been following this informative forum for a couple of years now, so I guess its time to make my first contribution. But first I'd better extend my Christmas regards to all of you who makes it so informative, and give you the Copenhagen weather report. We have ca. 0 degrees with a heavy S-E wind so that the chill factor is said to correspond to -15 degrees. Then to the subject of keeping the warmth in a Ruby. My father and I are since two years restoring one, and we found a strange contraption, which looked like a side cut out of a tin can mounted on the inside of the radiator. It had an outlet which seemed to have been connected with a tube to a matching hole that was made in the chassis on the passenger side (maybe also to keep the wife warm?). Inside the chassis there was a small flap that could slide forth and back to open or close the hole. If my traffic quota is not exhausted you should be able to see a picture of the contraption on http://users.cybercity.dk/~ccc20284/Engine.htm, but I cannot issue any guarantees for the effectiveness of the solution.

Regards Flemming.
