I have an 1935 Austin Arrow with the dropped "sports" front axle. The car has never steered well and now one of the A arms has collapsed (the control arm that runs from the axle to the chassis), I am after some information on the correct wheel alignment for this axle I have seen in a previous posting by Kieth Seidel to use 5 degrees caster and 2 3/4 degrees camber is this also appropriate for the sports axle. As the axle needs straightening and I am going to make new A arms I would appreciate any tips on getting front end set up and hopefully making the old girl a little less scary to drive.
