I have an Austin 7 special which has heavy steering. I am assuming it is a geometry problem as all the individual components are free. If I jack up the front its reasonably free (although not as free as rack and pinion) but it gets heavier on the road and really loads up on adverse camber turns uphill (I use the car for trials). Castor looks excessive to me at about 10 maybe 12 degrees but people tell me that this is quite normal. Has anyone any ideas?
