Hello Dennis, I am not quite sure what your reasons are for building a replica Austin 7, Is it because you want a replica of the AA car in particular, or do you like the early cars in general. By your comments ref. The wheels it looks as though you intend to make the whole thing from scratch, why do this? The least you should do is to try to get a running chassis up together to build the replica body onto, it will probably cost less in the long run and you will end up with a proper 7 after all the hard work. If cost and availability of a short chassis is a problem you can easily shorten a long chassis and cut down a long wheel base back axle, this has been done successfully by many here in the U.K. Build a real Seven and join the clan, You will be amazed how much help is out there, things that you thought were impossible will be much easier when you are in "the know" Not to mention the new friends you will make both in the real world and in cyberspace. Good Luck Ian P.S. The Mills book is well worth the money
