Thanks for your comments Bruce, I fact we have slowed down on the A7 useage. In October we bought a 1928 Super Aero Morgan to sit beside the 1970 4/4 4 seater, one can never have too many Morgans. In order to store, and afford the 3 wheeler we sold the Milano/ Big 7 and Christine's Sports 7.
We still attend lots of rallies, in fact last weekend we took the Chummy and 4/4 to Kingaroy for their rally.
In answer to you question re mileage, we cannot top the first year we owned the Chummy we drove 16000 miles, not k's. We often smile when an owner of a 10 year old restoration celebrates the amazing feat of covering 10000 miles in that (10 year) period.
In January this year we attended a "hot chilli run", in 38/40 degree heat and drove 400k's in a day. That's me in the 3 wheeler and Christine in the 4/4, I had trouble sitting for a few days after that one!
Anyone wanting to look at some photos of our Chummy, Morgans or unrestored 1927 Indian Scout 101, email me direct and I will reply.
Greg.
