There is a Reliant-engined Box around, but it quite frankly spoils the car. It does go very well however, with a top speed of about 70 which must be very interesting to say the least! This car has been to Beaulieu on many occasions, but in my view takes away the charm of the original. I believe the owner uses it on a daily basis and also that it has seat belts too.
However, your question was really about specials and although I said before that anything goes in this respect, suffice it to say that most A7 specials are faithful to the original.
