Hello, There seems to be two different types of Lucas R47 headlights (as fitted late 28 to30 sevens), On one type the reflector pushes down onto three fittings each with a spring and turns to lock in place, the other type has three spring loaded fingers which stick out and engage into three small slots in the reflector, this reflector has a very small return as opposed to the other type which is more like that on the chummy headlights, does anyone know for sure which type is correct for 1929? , I seem to remember that Morris 8s had a headlamp that looked like an R47 but were not correct for a seven, maybe one of the above is off one of these, help appreciated, Regards Ian
