If any help, Nippy 4-speed boxes (but not 65) have an S stamped on lid where std. boxes have SYN, also S stamped at rear of box, near bottom. Nippy expert Chris Gould in UK described the means to work out your ratios, but only when 4spd box, engine, tailshaft, diff & wheels all together in car and you need at least one assistant!
