Sandy - if that's all you've found, read on!! Seriously though, whilst we can nitpick, most authors have to be admired for their efforts. They do their best and anyone who thinks you get rich writing these kinds of books is badly mistaken. Re fans, perhaps the best guides are the Austin 7 Parts Lists, where anything painted is drawn in dark tones. I've looked from early-24 to late Ruby (including special book just for Nippy) and they all show fans as unpainted. You can't be guided by the Big Red book as everything is purposely line-drawn for clarity. Of help? Anyone else have ideas? Cheers, Bill
