Many thanks for all the replies, I think I can safely assume the blade was red. Now the next 'anorak' problem....... P.S. I do enjoy driving around and I use the car for travelling to and from work, so all's not lost, it's just that if the car can replicate it's original state, then why not have it that way, certainly chatting to former owners, they seem to enjoy looking at it and remembering the trials they had!!!!
